On Wednesday evening, June 4, a spectacular accident occurred on federal road 324 near Gittersdorf. A 21-year-old driver from the district lost control of his BMW and crashed into an embankment, collided with three trees and finally landed on the roof. Witnesses previously reported on his risky driving style, which noticed with rapid overtaking.

The driver was able to free himself from the destroyed vehicle and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A blood sample was removed because there was suspicion of the influence of drugs. His driver's license was temporarily ensured. The total damage of the accident amounts to around 5,000 euros.
