Free bicycle coding in Höchst: Secure your bike!

Montmelianer Platz, 64625 Höchst, Deutschland - In July 2025, the South Hesse police headquarters announced that bicycle owners have the opportunity to have their bikes coded free of charge. The protective woman on site, Carina Oberele, organizes two appointments for the coding, in which an individual number is engraved into the frame.

The first coding will take place on Monday, July 14th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Montmelianer Platz in Höchst. Interested parties should bring a valid ID document, proof of ownership for the bike and for e-bikes. It is also recommended to determine the frame number of the wheel in advance. Note: Carbon bikes are excluded from the coding.
