Security campaign children in view: Hessen sets signs in traffic protection!

On Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, the Hessian police set a sign of traffic safety on the cross -country campaign day "Safe.Mobil.leben - Kinder ALWAY". With the aim of protecting weaker road users, especially children, a total of 295 police officers started extensive controls and prevention actions in Hesse. These measures were carried out at 112 places such as schools, kindergartens and highways to increase traffic safety and to strengthen awareness of consideration in road traffic.

As part of the "Blitz for Kids" campaign in Frankfurt am Main, children and yellow cards handed over to road users - the green card for correct behavior and the yellow for speed violations. In the controlled number of vehicles of 2,697, including 251 before day care centers and 2,200 in front of schools, 975 violations were found, including speeding and cell phone use at the wheel. The police took a positive balance because many road users could be pointed out to dangerous situations.
