Terrible accident on B27: seriously injured and total damage!

On Saturday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident on the B27 between Rhina and Rothenkirchen. Around 3:45 p.m., a 20-year-old from Neuburg (Bavaria) lost control of his citroen and raced into oncoming traffic. He collided with the Volvo of a 56-year-old and his 58-year-old passenger from Berlin. The collision left everyone involved with serious injuries, while a person was taken to the hospital.

The two vehicles were no longer ready to drive - total damage! The protective planks were also badly damaged. The total damage is an estimated around 35,000 euros. As a result of the accident, the B27 was temporarily completely closed. Witnesses of the incident are urgently asked to contact the Bad Hersfeld police station on 06621/932-0.
