Serious accident on A7: Cars crashes against the tractor -trailer after heavy rain!

On Wednesday evening, June 4th, there was a violent accident on the A 7 motorway in the direction of Kassel between the Kirchheimer Dreieck and Bad Hersfeld. In heavy rain, a Skoda Kodiaq skidded and collided with the rear of a semitrailer. Fortunately, the driver, a man from southern Hesse, was only slightly injured and had to be taken to a nearby hospital for examination.

For the duration of the evacuation work, the A 7 was completely closed, but all lane could be released again after around ten minutes. In addition to a police patrol, the Neuenstein fire brigade and an ambulance were also on site to cope with the situation and ensure security as soon as possible.
