Pedelec training for seniors: Safe cycling in Hochtaunus!

Am Wolfsgarten, 61250 Usingen, Deutschland - The regional transport service of the Hochtaunus police department invites seniors to an exciting and free pedelec training that focuses on the special needs of older road users. On July 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., this important event will take place on the “Wolfsgarten” traffic training area in Usingen.

The training aims to increase the safety in road traffic and to strengthen trust in dealing with Pedelecs. It begins with a theoretical part in which traffic rules and safe behavior are discussed. Subsequently, the participants can simulate typical driving situations in practical exercises- from climbing and descending to slalom trips to brake and curve exercises. Important: Each participant should bring their own pedelec and a suitable helmet.

The number of participants is limited and registration is required. Interested parties can register by email at jvs.hochtaunus.ppwh@polizei.hessen.de. Do not miss the opportunity to improve your skills and be more secure in road traffic!
