Drug frenzy and chase: Police stops Raser in Witzenhausen!
In a dramatic incident in Witzenhausen, a 42-year-old man from the Eichsfeldkreis tried to escape a police check by racing with his petty bike through parks and footpaths. Despite his daring escape, the police were able to stop him when he turned into the "Hohler Weg" again. The driver, who had no driver's license and had previously consumed amphetamines and cannabis, was temporarily arrested. His escape led to comprehensive control in which his vehicle was confiscated and a blood sample was arranged.
A serious game accident also occurred on Thursday on the L 3238 when a 48-year-old driver grasped a wild boar that died at the scene of the accident. The damage to the vehicle is 25,000 euros, and the car had to be towed.
