artificial intelligence and older people

A central point is the adaptation of technological solutions to the needs of older people. Often these technologies are not only dependent on technological innovations, but should also take into account the aspect of accessibility and individual comfort. Accordingly, the "AI for good aging" initiative has been launched in order to include older people in the development and use of AI applications. This is supported by digitalpakt-alter.de which provides learning modules and programs for promoting digital skills.

The Linga week 2025 is not only a platform for students to develop innovative concepts, but also a step towards the social acceptance of artificial intelligence in everyday life of older people. This interdisciplinary collaboration plays an important role in dealing with the challenges of demographic change and the associated social questions.
