Kiosk in Waiblingen: New opening times and thanks planned!
Johannes-Auwärter-Straße, Waiblingen, Deutschland - In Waiblingen, the kiosk, led by Dagmar Handel and her son Daniel, remains an important point of contact for the community. After Dagmar Handel experienced the death of her husband, who was a co -founder of the kiosk, as a difficult blow, she is determined to bring the kiosk forward with new ideas. She receives support not only from her children, but also from a loyal regular customer. "We have recovered," she reports and announces an extension of the opening hours in order to further improve the service at the community. The kiosk is located in Johannes-Auwarter-Straße, directly behind Postbank and the new district office in Waiblingen.
Another highlight is the planned little barbecue ceremony, in which Dagmar Handel would like to thank the Waiblingeners. This initiative shows the strong sense of community that is in Waiblingen and the important role that local shops play in the city.
of the kiosk as a cultural and social meeting point
Waiblingen, about 10 km northeast of Stuttgart, has not only a lively kiosk culture, but also numerous cultural and historical highlights. Among other things, there are the water tower, which is listed, as well as the impressive churches and old town buildings in the city. In addition to the kiosk, institutions such as the district court and the Michaelskirche are important and contribute to the versatile cityscape.
in Stuttgart, meanwhile opens up the Utopia Kiosk, which has settled in the former culture kiosk in the Züblin car park. This new facility is particularly aimed at young, queer adults and offers a space for art and culture. With an inner area of around 40 square meters and a small outdoor area, the Utopia Kiosk plans to offer monthly changing exhibitions and living room concerts from local bands. The kiosk is open from Thursday to Saturday and offers a daily gastronomic offer that includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The project is supported by the queer human rights organization "100% human" and aims to address a diverse target group. "We want to create a space that gives young artists the opportunity to develop and promote new forms of social interaction," said the initiators. A special attraction will be the first concert with the queer newcomer artist Lea Graupner, which is already planned for May 4th.
With the extension of the opening times in the Kiosk of Dagmar Handel and the opening of the Utopia Kiosk in Stuttgart, it becomes clear that neither in Waiblingen nor in Stuttgart may lack cultural and social networking. Both kiosks play a key role in strengthening the community and promoting art and culture.
