Heavy rain causes spectacular accident on the A19 near Rostock!

In the event of heavy heavy rain, there was a dramatic accident on Sunday evening on the A19 between Kavelstorf and Laage: a 26-year-old man lost control of his car, which then overturned and came to a standstill several times. Fortunately, the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The property damage to the car is initially estimated at 15,000 euros.

The police had to completely block the A19 towards Berlin for about 30 minutes while the accident was taken. Due to the extreme weather conditions and the suspicion of aquaplaning, the police advise all drivers to significantly reduce the speed in the event of a heavy rain to avoid such dangerous situations.
