Youth fire brigades fight for the title: Altentreptow becomes a district master!
What an exciting weekend was that with the youth fire brigades of the Mecklenburg Lake District! Last Saturday, eleven youth and ten children's fire brigades showed their skills at the “Open Waters” competition in Neuendorf. The atmosphere was electrifying when the young firefighters fought the medals on the pitch and demonstrated their knowledge and skill.

The young people have the opportunity not only to celebrate success at local and state level, but also to qualify for higher competitions. There are even federal competitions that are as exciting at the national level as the German championship. Teams from all over Germany compete against each other and compete with a lot of effort and team spirit.
Overall, it can be said that such lively events not only promote the youth fire brigades, but also weld them together. Even if the competition is just over, the next one is already in the starting blocks. The anticipation is great!
