Lärz, Deutschland - Summer has started, and in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania it gets colorful again and loud! There are numerous music and cultural festivals that not only provide entertainment, but also promote creative exchange. The first highlights have already taken place to be precise, the "Immergut" festival in Neustrelitz, which attracted many music lovers at the end of May.

But that's just the beginning. The next big event that transforms the region into a pulsating backdrop is the legendary Fusion" fusion from June 25th to 29th. This year the festival, which celebrates its 26th anniversary, is expecting a variety of artists, DJs, readings and theater performances. Last year, around 79,000 visitors enjoyed the atmosphere. Anyone who has experienced the festival knows that it is a unique experience every year.

versatile festivals for every taste

Another highlight follows shortly after the merger: the " Airbeat one "-festival In Neustadt-Glewe from July 9th to 13th. International DJs like Armin Van Buuren and Boris Brejcha appear here. With an impressive main stage of around 180 meters, you can expect up to 65,000 guests daily dance to the beats every day.

In August the " Pangea Festival " in Pütnitz the different facets of pop, Present hip-hop and electrical music. The days from August 7th to 10th are planned not only for music fans, but also for those interested in culture and sports, with concentrated workshops as well as performances by artists such as Zartmann and Roy Bianco & Diebbrunzati Boys. With around 15,000 visitors from the previous year, the festival has already made a name for itself.

a festival against extremism

A completely different but also important event is the "Jamel rocks" -festival, the 22nd and August 23. This festival clearly faces right -wing extremism and has been attracting more and more people since its foundation in 2007 in Jamel (Gägelow community). The line-up remains secret until the event, the tickets are in great demand-only 3,500 are available every day, with over 23,000 inquiries recently.

The end of the summer festival series is the "Indian spirit to August 27 to September 1. Eldena takes place. As the largest psytrance festival in Germany, it offers a mixture of music, yoga courses and workshops.

In addition to these large events, there are of course also smaller but fine festivals. These include the " Roxsa Festival " in Bad Sülze and the "3000 degrees Festival" in the Feldberger Lake Landscape.
