On Saturday evening there was a serious accident on the A20 motorway between Anklam and Jarmen in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. The dense fog conditions played a significant role: a 46-year-old driver probably recognized a truck in front of her too late and found herself in a dangerous situation. Three ambulances, three emergency doctors and two fire departments were deployed. The result of this incident was a complete closure of the motorway in the direction of Lübeck for a full four hours.
