The anticipation of the upcoming weeks of Advent is already noticeable. A group of committed members of the Wedendorf vaulting club have come together to make beautiful Advent wreaths and arrangements for a week. The aim of this creative campaign is to pay off the club's debts and to finance new purchases. Thanks to the active support of parents and coaches, this venture is sure to be a complete success. As nordkurier.de reports, a new gymnastics horse has already been purchased to ensure the training and competitions of the young Amazons.
The freshly made Advent decorations will be sold on November 22nd, 2025 at the traditional November Magic on the sports field. Stalls open at 3 p.m., followed by a demonstration at 3:30 p.m. A craft street will be available for little visitors from 4 p.m. - there children can let their creativity run wild and marvel at Christmas elves. The proceeds from the sale of the handicrafts go towards the high veterinary costs, the purchase of a horse trailer and the installments for the new competition horse.
A festive lantern parade
Another highlight of the November magic will be the lantern parade, which will lead through the village at 5:15 p.m. The atmosphere is rounded off by culinary offerings and a selection of drinks, so there is something for every visitor. After the lantern parade, those present can look forward to an atmospheric autumn bonfire on the sports field. It promises to be a sociable evening where neighbors and friends come together to celebrate the beginning of Advent.
Exciting tournaments are coming up soon for the girls of the vaulting club. These events are not only a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills, but also strengthen cohesion within the club.
