In the picturesque Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, the region attracts nature lovers and adventure seekers with its numerous guided hikes. Two dedicated hiking guides, Christian Schumann and Nicole Kohröber, will be offering various tours in the near future, which are now enjoying great popularity. The nature park center in Warin is a valuable source of information for all hikers. Here you can find tips for excursion destinations, as well as exciting insights into the creation and development of the landscape. The nature park itself was designated in 2005 and extends over an impressive 540 square kilometers. It impresses with its deeply cut valleys on the Warnow, many lakes and extensive forests, which are not only home to a diverse range of animals, but also numerous rare plant species, including salt-loving plants that are threatened with extinction, such as Mecklenburg-Schwerin informed.

Highlights of the guided hikes

Led by the nature park manager, the tour goes through the Warnow and Mildenitz breakthrough valleys, and prior registration is not necessary. The meeting point is the parking lot at Warnowtal in Groß Görnow.

The Kritzower Berge hike on August 30th and the Warnowtal hike on September 4th round off the offer. Both tours require prior registration and participants can expect breathtaking views and unforgettable nature experiences.
