Rehna rocks: youth disco moves into the courtroom!

A fresh wind is blowing through the city of Rehna, because on Friday, November 21, 2025, the city's youth disco will be moving to a new location. Instead of taking place in the city library as usual, the event will now take place in the impressive courtroom of the historic monastery complex. This new ambience has long exceeded the organizers' expectations. It has been a long time since there has been such great interest in an event for young people in the region. Angela Höllein, the youth social worker, emphasized: “We are pleased about the many registrations and the positive feedback!” The anticipation is palpable, and not just among the organizers.

The disco opens its doors at 6 p.m. and closes again around 10 p.m. An entertaining program with neon lights, big beats and non-alcoholic cocktails awaits the young people. For those on a budget, the tickets are incredibly cheap at just 1 euro and can be purchased at some ticket offices in the city, such as Tina Teut in the Rehna School and in the city library. “We want everyone to be able to take part!” explains Höllein.

Special date

What's exciting and remarkable is that November 21st is a special date not only for disco. For example, today, November 4, 2025, there are already 308 days in the year and we are heading into week 45. Another interesting aspect: On this date we experience a large number of historical events in world history. The Paris Climate Agreement came into force and physicists in New Zealand observed a record-breaking solar eruption. These are topics that move people, including here in Rehna.

Anyone who is also interested in cultural highlights should not forget the birthday of Rainer Maria Rilke, one of the most important Austrian poets. A fitting quote from him is: "Let life happen. Believe me: life is always right." A nice thought, especially for the young people who will spend their evening in the new youth disco.

The team around Höllein and Tina Teut ensures that everything is finished on time. “We have a good knack for entertaining young people,” says Höllein proudly. “It will be unique!” With lots of colorful ideas and perfect planning, the young people should be given an unforgettable evening.

With a program that is tailored to the interests of the young people, the organizational team hopes to set an example and promote positive cooperation. A message that is also important today, when diversity and inclusion are becoming increasingly important. This event also focuses on consideration and community.
