Serious traffic accident on B197: family injured, trees destroyed!

on Wednesday evening, around 6:40 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the B197 near Sarnow, in which three vehicles were involved. The 60-year-old driver of a Jaguar tried to overtake when the 31-year-old Renault driver also exhausted. There was a side collision, with the Jaguar skiding and hit against a 41-year-old car. This car, which was occupied with his family, shot off the street and crashed against a street tree.

The 41-year-old Seat driver suffered serious injuries, while his wife and the three children aged five, six and eleven years gave minor injuries. All family members were brought to the clinic in Anklam. The drivers of the Renault and the Jaguar remained unharmed. The Seat was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The B197 was closed for around two and a half hours, and the amount of damage is estimated at around 60,000 euros.
