Mini-wacken in Western Pomerania: Steinmocker Rock Open Air starts!

In the tranquil community of Neetzow Liepen in Western Pomerania, a rock of special kind will take place in August 2024: The first stone mocker Rock Open Air. Ulrike Krüger from Loitz and Sandra Mielke from Greifswald are co-organizers of this small but fine festivals, which opens its gates between Jarmen and Anklam. Supported by the organizer Henryk Bergemann and a team of nine, they really want to make stone mockers vibrate. The guests are waiting for two evenings full of music with a total of 17 bands. The festival takes place on August 22 and 23, 2024 and promises a family atmosphere. In addition to the live acts, there are also DJs that create a mood after the appearances. Friday starts at 12 p.m., with the first band, Meven from Greifswald, entering the stage at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, nine bands will follow every hour that encourage the audience to celebrate.

Particular attention is paid to increasing the number of visitors. While only a fraction of the desired 800 visitors came at the first event, the organizers hope for at least 400 guests in 2025, and in the long term up to 5000 participants should be reached. The costs for the event move in the higher five -digit range; Therefore, the organizers are looking for financial support. Ticket prices are currently starting at 49 euros including camping and will increase to 69 euros from July 1st. The pre -sale of the tickets has already started, which indicates lively interest in the festival.

The Steinmocker Rock Open Air not only wants to address hardcore rock fans, but also attract a colorful mixed audience, including families with children. The noticeable closeness between musicians and visitors contributes to the special atmosphere. The line-up includes a wide variety of music styles from rock to pop to punk and metal. In recent years, the federal capital of Berlin has repeatedly advanced an enormous music festival - the Fusion Festival. With around 70,000 visitors, it is a good example of how diverse and big music festivals in Germany can be.
