On June 28, 2025, the Rainbow Square on Leo-Tolstoi-Weg in Stralsund will be transformed into a place of celebration and peaceful coexistence. The Peace festival, organized by the group “Stralsund thinks” as part of the “Uni in der Platte” project, offers a varied program for the whole family. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., young and old can take part in a colorful stage program free of charge.
A culinary highlight is the international buffet, which is prepared by local people. For sweets lovers, there is also a large cake bazaar with home-baked delicacies. Democracy life will highlight the festival as an opportunity to raise awareness of social issues.
A variety of hands-on stations for the little ones
Particularly appealing is the offer of hands-on stations for children, which playfully convey how elections work and the importance of diversity. Here, young visitors can learn how important it is to work for a just society. Organizer Ariane Kroß is full of anticipation and is expecting numerous guests.
A special highlight of the day will be the concert by singer Arthur, who will take the stage at 6 p.m. The organizational team receives support from members and friends of the Stralsund BSW group, who accompany the festival with a lot of commitment.
