Music connects: Father's daughter duo enchants Wildeshausen!

Wildeshausen, Deutschland - A special father-daughter duo entered the stage in the Wildeshauser Rathaus when Luzia Junker and her father Heer Junker played together. This performance took place at the opening of the historical pumps and provided the audience an insight into the close family band that connects the two. Luzia described her joy and pride to perform with her father, because music is a central part of her life.

Heer Junker, who came to Wildeshausen in 1990 to play at the Gildefest, not only found his passion, but also the love of his life, Martina. Together they brought up two musically talented children, Tjaak and Luzia. Already in childhood, both were encouraged by armies in guitar lessons, with Luzia emphasizing that she never felt the feeling of pressure, but always experienced music as a joy. The father describes her taste in music as "very special" and "vintage".

rediscovery of live music

The performance took place at a time when live music came into focus again. This was also shown by the "Rock Fire Up" concert in front of the Romberg music school. Headmaster Konrad Hartong was enthusiastic about the return to live music after the Lockdowns. The event lasted three hours and opened with the band "Age in Trouble", which played well-known Beatles songs. Luzia Junker was part of the band "Fathers and Daughters", consisting of Heer Junker, Peter Reckzeh and their daughters, among them Luzia, who delighted the audience with their performance of "Me and Bobby McGee".

The Loactions offered a relaxed atmosphere in which the visitors could sing along and clap. The positive response to the selection of the songs showed that the audience had eagerly awaited the return to live events. Another highlight of the event was the appearance of Anna Reckzeh, which the spectators with their violin play at "Am Window".

music education training

In the middle of the musical activities, Luzia Junker plans to complete music education training. This further training is from the program "We make the music!" of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture. The content of the training includes elementary music education for children aged 3 to 8 years. The aim is to train specialists for creative music practice and convey skills in various disciplines, from vocal music to artistic expression.

The modules of the training program are coordinated and the participation fees vary, with reduced contributions available for participants in the WMDM. The registration deadline for the next phase is January 13, 2025, so that interested musicians should take care of a place in good time.

The musical commitment of Luzia Junker not only shows her own passion, but also the sustainable effect of music in the family and beyond. The revival of the music scene in Wildeshausen brings people together and strengthens the sense of community through the universal language of music.
