Nelson Müller opens Hoteldreams in Gladbach - a festival of cuisine!

Diepeschrather Mühle, 51465 Bergisch Gladbach, Deutschland - The renowned star and TV chef Nelson Müller prepares the official opening of his first hotel, the Diepeschrather Mühle, in Bergisch Gladbach. This event, which is to take place on May 27, 2025, will not only include the Landhotel, but also the new brasserie "Müllers in the mill" and the star restaurant "Schot". Over 300 guests, including well -known personalities such as Matze Knop, Joey Kelly and Horst Lichter, are expected. The singer Cassandra Steen will also appear on this special day and will perform Müller's favorite song "If that is love".

Müller announces that the past few months have been challenging for him and speaks of a "familiarization phase". The Diepeschrather Mühle combines culinary and hospitality in a comprehensive concept. In addition to the already established star restaurant "Schot", which has been awarded a Michelin star continuously since 2011, the brasserie "Müllers in the mill" will play a central role. This innovation aims to offer guests an unforgettable experience. Müller has also been running the brasserie "Müllers on the Rü" in Essen since 2014, which opened another location in the Boutique Hotel "1884 Norderney" in 2023.

In particular, the Bergisch Gladbacher have received the reopening of the company in the Diepeschrather Mühle, despite initial challenges in the beer garden. Müller moves to Bergisch Gladbach with his family and appreciates the closeness to nature that gives him strength.

The award of Michelin

The opening of the new hotel comes in one year that is important for Germany's gastronomy. Current publications of the Guide Germany 2024 show that the country is through 1,260 restaurant recommendations. In Germany there are currently 10 restaurants with three stars, 50 restaurants with two stars and 280 with a star, which emphasizes the high culinary quality, which is also sought in the new concept by Nelson Müller.
