New research center at the TU Braunschweig: Mobility of the future!

Braunschweig, Deutschland - On June 6, 2025, a new chapter in mobility research will be opened on the TU Braunschweig . As part of a new special research area (SFB), the DFG will support the SFB/TRR "Agimo: Data -based agile planning for responsible mobility" in which the university is significantly involved. This innovative research approach aims to develop new concepts for future mobility planning and is enriched by the expertise of Prof. Vanessa Miriam Carlow and the Space Lab at ISU, which bring in both urban and participatory perspectives.

The TU Braunschweig also celebrates a 30-year partnership with the University of Rhode Island in the USA. The celebrations also start today and are broadcast live on YouTube. This longstanding relationship has contributed to the promotion of an interdisciplinary exchange and shows the importance of international networks in the academic world.

Another exciting event is the campusexperience: Summervibes Festival, which will take place on Campus Nord on June 21 from 3 p.m. This free daily festival is not only aimed at students and employees, but also invites external guests and children to take part in a colorful program.

In the field of research, the Center for Pharmaceutical Procedure Technology (PVZ) will expand its biotechnical systems with a modern plate separator of the GEA Group, which enables a complete biotechnological value chain. This is an important step to optimize research and development processes.

Despite the challenges that the global educational scene brings with it, the TU Braunschweig remains active. With the help of a Fulbright scholarship, doctoral student Lisa-Katharina Möhlen examines school inclusion in the USA at 35 schools in eight states. Your research is part of a comprehensive program to strengthen intercultural cooperation.
