Fusing Dutch: Police pulls up speed on A31!

In a number of speed controls, the police inspection Emsland/Grafschaft Bentheim found considerable violations on the A31 and Gölenkamp on May 26 and 30. A Dutch driver was measured on the A31 in Schüttorf with breathtaking 212 km/h - a whopping 68 km/h above the permitted limit of 130 km/h! The expensive pleasure: a two -month driving ban, two points in Flensburg and a horrendous fine of 2,400 euros!

But that's not all! In a 50 km/h zone in Gölenkamp, several razors banged on the radar. Two Dutch drivers and a moped driver were flashed with speeds between 88 and 91 km/h, which brought them a one -month driving ban, two points and fines of around 1,000 euros. Another driver put the crown on the whole and was hit at 98 km/h - almost twice as fast! His punishment: a month of driving ban, two points and 1,600 euros. A total of more than 4,300 vehicles were recorded during the controls, with a disturbing proportion of drivers traveling too quickly.
