School bag festival in Ahmsen: A day full of joy and security for children!

Bright children's eyes, happy music and a strong sign of traffic safety: The school bag festival on June 3, 2025 on the Waldbühne in Ahmsen was a lavish success! Around 1,000 preschool children from the district of Emsland came when the police inspection Emsland/Grafschaft Bentheim and the district sports association Emsland invited to the big celebration. Under the motto "On the places, done, school! - Safe and fit in your school adventure!" The little ones experienced an unforgettable morning full of fun and movement.

As part of the nationwide campaign "Safe.Mobil.leben-Kinder anliche", a colorful program was offered that conveyed important traffic education measurements in a playful way. The well-known "singing protective man" Marc Elges and his hand puppet "Pepe" delighted the children with the hands-on performance "Pepe goes!". As a crowning glory, each child received a school bag with great surprises, including movement passes and traffic safety items. A festival that heralded the anticipation for school perfectly!
