Kitchen fire in Lehrte: Fast intervention by the fire brigade prevents worse

on Saturday evening, at 10:48 p.m., the fire brigade was alerted when a kitchen fire was reported on the third floor of an apartment building on the deep street. Due to several emergency calls, the control center classified the use and alarmed additional forces.

When the first firefighters arrived, the situation quickly relaxed: residents had already deleted the fire with fire extinguishers, and all residents had been evacuated before the emergency services arrived. A respiratory protection team checked the kitchen with a thermal imaging camera and found that there were no more embers. The building was then made smoke -free with a pressure ventilation. A total of 32 fire brigades were Lehrte, Aligse and Steinwedel as well as the ambulance service and the police on site, while the additional alarmed units were able to leave.
