18 new fire heroes: Aurich's savior starts your training!

On Saturday, 18 brave participants of the volunteer fire brigades of the city of Aurich completed their first course with flying colors! After three intensive weeks full of theory and practice, the fire brigade candidates are now ready to go to the emergency service. The training included important knowledge, from legal foundations to extinguishing attacks. The graduates learned the essence of the fire service on seven evenings and three Saturdays and are now fit for use in emergency situations.

This course, part of a nationwide training reform, is carried out in Aurich for the second time. The new emergency services are now active and support your local fire brigade in an emergency. But this is the beginning: further training and an exam will be on the program in the next few months to complete your training. Until then, the new firefighters have the opportunity to gain initial experience in real missions. An exciting and challenging path for the committed young people!
