Use in the Egels Forest: Fire Brigade frees Street of fallen branches

Egelser Straße, 26605 Aurich, Deutschland - Wild commitment of the Wiestholzen fire brigade! On Tuesday evening, the fire brigade was called for a dangerous effort on Egelser Strasse. A large branch had broken out of a tree in the adjacent forest and immediately fell on the road. But that was not all: when looking closely, the rescuers discovered that further, unstable branches threatened to fall down and to endanger traffic safety.

The site was immediately secured to prevent worse things. The Aurich fire brigade ladder was requested to reach the dangerous branches from the height. With success: The emergency services quickly cut off the impending dangers and cleared the road from the residues. After just half an hour the road was released for traffic again!
