The Bad Nenndorf police ask for clues to the brazen theft, which occurred on Monday, May 26, 2025, around 11 a.m. in the Aldi supermarket in Lauenau. During a shopping, a 76-year-old lady from Lauenau was stolen from her closed handbag.

The previously unknown perpetrator escaped with the wallet, which not only contained numerous cards, but also a larger sum of cash - money that the injured party had previously withdrawn from her savings bank. The police appealed to the public to report suspicious observations in order to track this unscrupulous crime.
