Motorcycle accident in Hameln: 25-year-old seriously injured, but saved!

On Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. there was a dramatic motorcycle accident on Burghagen street in Hameln. A 25-year-old driver lost control of her Husqvarna in a left-hand bend and drove over a meadow before crashing about 80 meters from the street in a forest. The motorcycle ignited, which the alarmed fire brigade had to extinguish in a quick action.

The young driver initially suffered the serious injuries, so that a rescue helicopter was called to the scene of the accident. After landing the helicopter, however, it turned out that the injuries were not as serious as initially feared. Instead, she was transported to the Bad Pyrmont Clinic with an ambulance. The motorcycle was recovered by a towing company, while the investigation into the exact cause of the accident is running.
