Serious accident on L 282: Motorists die with a truck after collision

A tragic traffic accident occurred on the L 282 between Lachendorf and Celle this morning. A 53-year-old driver of a Dacia Logan got into oncoming traffic at around 8:45 a.m. for still unclear reasons and collided head-on with a tractor. The driver suffered so serious injuries that he died at the scene of the accident. The truck driver got away with minor injuries.

For the duration of the accident recording, the L282 remained closed for several hours because both vehicles were no longer ready to drive. The police have started the investigation into the exact cause of the accident.
