Lindenstraße, 49809 Lingen, Deutschland - in Lingen there was a dramatic ship accident on the Dortmund-Ems Canal this afternoon! At 12:42 p.m., an inland ship collided with the bridge on Lindenstrasse, since the stabilizers on the bug were not lowered for unknown reasons. The violent collision significantly damaged the steel beams of the bridge construction.

As an immediate reaction, the bridge was closed to shipping traffic as well as for pedestrians and vehicles. A detour is set up and signposted to safely redirect the traffic.
