At around 1 p.m., the stranger heralded at the door of the seniors on Conringstrasse and stated that a hydrant was damaged in front of the house. In order to allegedly check the taps, he asked the couple to open their taps until dirty water flows.

After the fraudsters entered the apartment and spoke to the seniors for a while, he escaped undetected - and the couple only noticed in the afternoon that they had become the victim of theft. The police are now investigating and wonders whether the perpetrator acted alone or possibly with an accomplice.
