Max Wild opens sustainable location in Leutkirch for 3 million euros!

Leutkirch, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland - Max Wild, an established family company in construction, opened a new location in the Friesenhofen station industrial area today, May 26, 2025. This new facility, which relies on sustainability, costs around three million euros and represents a significant step in corporate development. The new building complex comprises 800 square meters of indoor area and 425 square meters of office space, which represents a relocation and enlargement of the company, which had previously been based in Urlau for eight years. The symbolic groundbreaking ceremony for the project took place in the summer of 2024, and the construction was now successfully completed after a nine -month construction period.

The company, which works in the areas of earth and civil engineering work, material current management and circular economy, will offer its entire range of services at the new location. With the move to the new building, Max Wild plans to increase the number of employees from around 30 to up to 55. Participation in the modern working environment is primarily valued by the opportunities for cooperation and creativity.

sustainable building practices

The new location is not only an investment project, but also an example of sustainable building practices. The entire complex was built in wood construction and combines modern building requirements from an ecological point of view. The energy supply is carried out by a combination of heat pump and photovoltaic system, which continues to minimize the company's ecological footprint. These approaches are in accordance with the increasing requirements for the construction industry, which are occupied by the Circularity GAP Report 2021, according to which there are considerable savings potential in the construction sector, both for materials and emissions. The use of circulatory strategies is increasingly necessary to meet the requirements for sustainability and to meet the UN development goals that also affect the construction and building sector.

Max Wild has been active since 1955 and today has 17 locations in the region, which makes the company one of the largest construction companies in southern Germany. With around 900 employees, the company offers a variety of services that go far beyond the demolition and also include logistics and services. The central location of the new location is seen as an advantage for the provision of services in the entire southern Germany.

The construction project was coordinated by Wild Projektentwicklung GmbH, a subsidiary of Max Wild GmbH, and the turnkey timber construction was realized by the Sohm Holzbauechnik GmbH from Austria. Through the new location, Max Wild hopes not only to promote his own growth, but also to exchange new ideas and thus to promote community success.
