Burglary in Mackenrode: Masked perpetrators steal tobacco products!

In a shocking incident on the late Monday evening, unknown perpetrators broke into a gas station in Mackenrode, district of Nordhausen. Shortly after 11:30 p.m., the burglars gave themselves violent access to the building and stole an indefinite amount of tobacco products. They fled in the direction of the town center of Mackenrode by car.

The Nordhausen criminal police became active at night and secured traces at the scene. Now the police asks the population for help: who has observed something suspicious or can there be clues to the crime or the perpetrators? Witnesses are asked to report on 03631/960.
