On Sunday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on Hannoversche Straße with two motorcyclists, which are in critical condition. At around 10:50 a.m., the 26-year-old woman from Ganderkesee and a 19-year-old man from Westerstede drove in a group when they cramed and plunged from the road due to unknown cause.

The two drivers had to be treated immediately at the scene of the accident. Three ambulances, two emergency medical vehicles and a rescue helicopter, which flew the seriously injured woman to the hospital, were deployed. While the police investigation was taken up by the police, the area around the scene of the accident is currently closed, which leads to significant traffic disruptions. The rescue measures are still underway.
