The Essen fire brigade was alerted in the early afternoon when numerous emergency calls about a fire arrived in an empty asylum accommodation on Flözstrasse in Essen-Bochold. Already on the journey, the emergency services noticed a massive smoke development, which enveloped the entire area into a thick layer of smoke.When the first fire truck arrived, the situation was already alarming: the building was badly affected, and the fire brigade immediately increased the alarm keyword to mobilize additional forces. The Essen police have now started the cause of the fire.
