Serious accident in Essen: Fire brigade saves the injured driver out of car!
On Friday afternoon, a serious traffic accident between two cars occurred on the Langemarkstraße corner of Bonifatiusstraße in Essen-Schonßstraße. At 2 p.m., the fire brigade control center immediately alerted two ambulances, an emergency doctor's vehicle and an aid fire engine.
When arriving, the emergency services found an injured person on the street and the seriously injured driver of a red small car who complained about severe pain. In order to gently save the woman, the emergency doctor, together with the fire department's head of operations, decided to carry out a technical rescue. With the help of a special device, a large side opening was created to safely free the driver.
Subsequently, expiring equipment was eliminated, and the Essen police took over the investigation into the cause of the accident. The intersection was completely blocked for the duration of the operation.| Details | |
