Collection police: tensions at demonstrations in Berlin Mitte!
Mitte, Deutschland - The Berlin police were active yesterday with a massive use of around 440 forces in Mitte to monitor several demonstrations. A central meeting under the motto "against treason and against attacks on our people" began at 2:15 p.m. at the Schillingstrasse underground station and moved towards Alexanderplatz with 65 participants. There were tensions during the elevator: emergency services had to intervene to prevent blockages of counter -demonstrators. These disputes led to the temporary restriction of 20 people after some attacked and resisted.
At the same time, another demonstration with the topic of "clear edge against Nazis" took place, which started at 12:45 p.m. and grew up to 600 participants. This event was largely trouble -free, but ended with a final rally in which 400 people took part. In total, nine investigations were opened in the protests, which include allegations such as insult, property damage and resistance to enforcement officers.| Details | |
