Fast journey ends dramatic: racing cyclist seriously injured after an accident

On Thursday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident on the Way of the Cross in Paderborn! A 29-year-old Audi driver passed the intersection of Kreuzweg / Lindenweg / Renker at 12:45 p.m. and disregarded the right of an oncoming 47-year-old racing cyclist. The impact was violent: the cyclist was thrown onto the street with full force and suffered serious injuries.

The emergency doctor was quickly on hand! The injured cyclist was immediately taken to a Paderborn hospital, where he is now being treated. This incident once again shows the dangers in road traffic and the need to pay attention to the right of way!
