Cyclists flee after an accident with a pedestrian - arrest causes excitement!
A traffic accident escape shook Bad Kreuznach on Wednesday evening when a cyclist caught a 56-year-old pedestrian in Hospitalgasse around 6:23 p.m. The woman fell and contracted minor injuries, but was immediately taken to a hospital. Despite the courageous attempts by a witness to stop the fleeing cyclist, he initially escaped undetected. The bicycle was secured by the police.
The next day the next day was a decisive indication of the identity and the whereabouts of the cyclist. Around 2:30 p.m. the 34-year-old was arrested in Gerbergasse after trying to flee. He is now held responsible for traffic accident and negligent bodily harm and already confessed in a first hearing.
