Man threatens employee in the supermarket after theft!

On Thursday, June 5, 2025, a 57-year-old man was arrested in Stuttgart after allegedly stolen a beverage can in a grocery store on Ostendstrasse. At around 2:45 p.m. the suspect entered the shop, took a can out of the shelf and drank it empty before he went towards the exit without paying.

When an employee asked and wanted to hold him, the man threatened her with a knife and defended himself. Despite the threat, the employee managed to hold the perpetrator until the police arrived. After the police measures, the man was released.
