In the afternoon of today, at 2:45 p.m., there was a shocking traffic accident on the B 6 in Asendorf. A 61-year-old driver got into oncoming traffic for an unknown cause and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle that was controlled by a 30-year-old woman. The impact was violent, and the car of the older woman overturned, landed on the roof and had to be freed from the fire brigade.

Fortunately, the 61-year-old contracted only minor injuries and was flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter. The 30-year-old driver was also slightly injured and immediately received help from the emergency services. Both vehicles are now completely damaged and no longer ready to drive. The accident causes considerable property damage and leaves questions about the cause of the accident.
