On Monday, June 23, 2025, the city of Idar-Oberstein invites you to a citizens' consultation together with the police. Mayor Marx and the head of the police inspection, police councilor Short, are available from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the city administration for questions and concerns of the citizens. The aim is to enable a direct dialogue and to respond to concerns and suggestions from the population.

Interested parties should register in the anteroom of the mayor by Tuesday, June 17, 2025 and enter their concerns. The number of participants is limited to promote individual conversations. The city and police are looking forward to the exchange with the citizens to further increase the security and quality of life in Idar-Oberstein.
