Shock accident: Car overflows and ends up in the stream near Spiegelberg!

On Friday afternoon, a dramatic accident occurred on the L1117 between Kurzach and Bernhalden. At around 4:50 p.m., an Opel Astra came off the street, overturned and landed on the roof in a stream - the winter sounder! The 38-year-old driver had to be flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries by a rescue helicopter. Fortunately, the 40-year-old passenger only suffered minor injuries.

The accident site was closed for several hours, from 5:10 p.m. to 7:34 p.m., while the police started the investigation and carried out the salvage of the vehicle. The property damage amounts to around 3,000 euros.
