Serious accident: Huge tree buries car on Vennhauser Allee!

In the early evening of October 5, there was a shocking traffic accident on Vennhauser Allee! A huge tree, about 15 meters high and with a trunk diameter of 60 centimeters, suddenly collapsed and fell onto the street, whereby two passing cars were hit. A 22-year-old driver was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital, while the other driver was luckily unharmed.

The dramatic incident occurred at 5:00 p.m. Passers -by immediately alerted the fire brigade, who arrived at the scene of the accident at 5:08 p.m. Due to the size of the tree, special rescue devices were required. The fire brigade crane carefully raised the tree from the two vehicles, and the rescue work dragged on for about an hour. During this time the Vennhauser Allee was completely blocked.
