On June 6, 2025, the Veterinary Medical Department of the Free University of Berlin is about a special event: On Saturday, June 14th, an open day will take place on the Campus düppel in Berlin-Zehlendorf. The event aims to give interested parties into an insight into veterinary training, research and practice. Visitors can look forward to an exciting program that is designed for both families and for professional interested parties.

Especially for children, the day is suitable on which an interactive rally with over 20 stations is offered. Here, among other things, the young visitors can discover research institutes, the clinic for small and pets and the status of "veterinarians without borders". Successful participants in the rally receive an “animal diploma”, which also increases the experience factor. There are also activities such as a visit to the cuddly animal hospital and in the petting zoo, which also invite you to participate.
