In the evening in the Gostenhof district of Nuremberg, a balcony fire broke out, which put the fire brigade on alert. The emergency call took place at 6:00 p.m.; Firefighters already noticed a thick smoke development on the way. The alarm keyword was immediately increased, and the emergency services of the fire stations 1 to 4 moved in with around 40 firefighters, two ambulances and police.

The fire on the third floor could only be reached via the back yard. Respiratory protection troops hurried to rescue people and fought the fire while another C-tube fought the fire from the back yard. After about 30 minutes, the fire was under control, but the reversal work was still an hour due to embers in the false blanket. Fortunately, there were no injuries. So far there is no information on the cause of the fire and the amount of damage, the police have started the investigation.
