Large fire brigade annual exercise in Bergisch Gladbach-all details!

Paffrather Straße 175, 51465 Bergisch Gladbach, Deutschland - The Bergisch Gladbach fire brigade invites the media to the major annual exercise in 2025! On Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., starts at the fire and rescue station 1, Paffrather Straße 175, in Bergisch Gladbach. At this spectacular event, two seasons of the professional fire brigade, six seasons of the volunteer fire brigade, a season of the fire and emergency services school and a season of the Technical Relief Agency (THW) will take part.

The participants will master a total of ten realistic practice scenarios, in which not only fire brigade skills are required, but also team spirit and creative problem solutions come into play. The fun is not neglected! The entire day of exercise will last until 6 p.m., including a award ceremony. Attention: In the urban area, an increased use of the fire brigade and THW is to be expected between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., but are not worried - the exercise takes place without special rights and does not hold any danger to the population.
