On Wednesday evening, the fire brigade and the police in Ravensburg were alerted due to a fire in front of the Trinity Church. Unknowns ignited a garbage can at 6:30 p.m. that quickly went up in flames. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the volunteer fire brigade, which came with two vehicles, greater damage to the church and the neighboring parish building was prevented. The property damage is estimated at around 100 euros. The police have evidence that a group of young people who was previously seen nearby may be involved in the incident.
In the meantime, a dangerous traffic accident occurred on the B 30 towards Ravensburg around 9:30 p.m. A 25-year-old Ford driver tried to avoid a white small car that came towards her on her lane and came off the road. The evasive maneuver led to minor injuries. Sparks flew to a hedge and inflamed the roof, causing property damage of around 150,000 euros. The fire brigade was on site with 80 emergency services.
