On May 25, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., the police were alerted because a vehicle drove in snake lines on the A20 towards Lübeck. The officers quickly found the suspect car and stopped at the Warnowal car park. The driver, a 59-year-old German, had alcohol in the blood of two per thousand and was therefore clearly drunk.

During the control, the man did not want to give up his ID documents and resisted, which caused the police officers to get him to the ground, slightly injured. A blood sample was removed and his driver's license was ensured. The criminal police have taken over the further investigation.
